One of my first experiences with organizing cultural events was when I was volunteering for the 13th (and maybe 14th?) Internationales Videofestival Bochum in 2004 and 2005, helping out with programme selection/curation, logistics, and moderation.
As an active member or the TOPLAP Barcelona community, I typically help out with looking after the website and the Mastodon account, document our events, and I've also helped out curating local events, such as the VIU festival.
In 2023 and 2025, I was part of the organzing team of the International Conference on Live Coding (ICLC), for which I've volunteered as a reviewer since 2017 as well.
